These days people are busy making a living for themselves. Everyone you meet wants to more successful and achieve big.
Everyone aims to be in a superior position, to have his own big car or house, and everything else in the world.
But, are these really what we want from our life.
Once you achieve these, then what next, a bigger aim, a bigger target, a bigger car or bigger house.
This is not the goal of our lives, this is what we do for a better standard of living.
This is a never ending cycle for our living. These things are material and once you achieve them, you strive for more.
The ultimate goal for our life has always been to be happy and make our loved ones happy.
The happiness which we search for, is always around us, but we never acknowledge them as we are busy chasing our “Goals”.
The happiness is in the little moments which we come across every now and then like that morning cup of tea or that 10 minutes of extra sleep after snoozing the alarm.
That smile from a stranger, the unknown kid who held your finger and is not letting you go, that is happiness.
The favourite dish in your lunch box which you unknowingly opened and don’t forget pizza delivery when you are so hungry.
Your parents being proud of you, that is happiness.
The happiness is in that sunrise on the top of the mountain, the sunset on the beaches where the sun meets the water.
The happiness is the welcome by snowfall on way to a hill station and that least expected rainfall in the evening with hot tea.
A gift being received for no reason, your friends with a surprise on your birthday, that is happiness.
These little moments which we get to have daily, steal these moments because this is the goal of our life. The happiness we get from these little moments is what we strive for and what we crave for all our lives.
The achievements are essential but the happiness in life is equally important.
A big car won’t give you happiness if you are driving it alone.
A cabin will not cheer you up, your family waiting for you at home will do that.
Strive for more, but not at the cost of these small moments of life.

It was nice to read to see a similar blog like my own. So since we both write about similar topics, we could someday collaborate.
