Letter to My Younger Self

Dear Me,

My sweet little self.
You don’t know me, but I know you well because I am your elder self.

The 2.0 version of you.
Yes! The 2.0 version because while getting older I changed.
I changed as per the situations, the time, and as it was required.

But, you know what I still feel I should not have changed. I shouldn’t have given up to the situations.

So, hey… Little me… Never doubt yourself.
The people around may doubt you, they might try to manipulate you or brainwash you, as per their wish and for their advantage.
But, you need to trust yourself because only you know everything about you, the intentions behind your decisions and the reasons behind the choices you make.

You cannot keep everyone happy.

Everyone you meet or everyone you have, are neither always right nor always wrong. Every individual is different, and so are you.
You don’t need to prove yourself or be a person with identical thoughts everytime.
This doesn’t mean you are wrong, neither it means they are. It’s just difference of opinions.

Be strong… Be confident… Listen to everyone, but follow what your heart says and trust your intuitions.

Every day will teach you a new lesson, in its own ways.
Don’t be disheartened, if things are not coming out the way you wanted to, that’s not a failure. You need to have patience, there might be something good hidden for you in it.

Learn to love yourself first, spend time with yourself, before Expecting others to love you.

Every person who comes in your life won’t be there forever. Everyone you meet in life, only comes to play their part in our story of life and leaves once their part is over. So, understand and move on.

Never take a decision in anger, it could backfire.
They say, “Every action has an equal an opposite reaction”.
But, don’t trust them because every action does not require your reaction. Every action or every situation or every person you meet is not worth your time.

Value your time because there is only one life and one chance, and making this chance an opportunity or a regret of a lifetime is in our hands.

At the end, love yourself, be confident and its ok to be selfish sometimes for your happiness.
So, be happy..be you..live in the moment..make memories and never change….
