School Life. School Friends.

All our childhood we would pray to complete our school life as soon as possible, get big and step into the next phase of our life, where no one’s permission would be required, where we would be able to do what so ever we want, where no one will restrict us, no one would instruct us.

But, after finally getting that big, what we all must have felt at some point in time, while watching children going to school or while watching some teenagers in a group talking and laughing loud, is what a life it was when we were kids, when we were in school.

Yes, the school life we always hated living, is actually the time we miss the most. The carefree, innocent moments and memories that we cherish today, and will do so the rest of our lives.

This was the time of our lives where we lived our lives to the fullest, where we were not feared of the rat race, we wouldn’t judge each other, we would love each other unconditionally and hate each other for not sharing our lunch boxes.

Today, remembering those fights, sharing those memories we laugh out loud. How silly we were.

Those were the times where we didn’t know the meaning of friends and friendship but we would still care for each other, fight for each other and obviously with each other as well because come on a fight tells how strong
a relationship is.

The fight for lunch because “why was it shared with someone without asking me, I eat your lunch daily, right.” The fight for sharing more time with the other person because “I am your best friend”. The fight for sitting together in the class because “how dare you sit with the other person”.

The endless silly fights and endless misunderstandings and then endless time to convince and apologize.

Those were the days when we would share all our feelings,  our crushes, our fights, our good times our bad times everything.

We would live our life freely, fear nothing, love everything and would hate the classes. We would make plans to go out, and then meet and plan our future outings, plan for those road trips, to the beaches, to the mountains, to the moon and what not.

The plans to get admission in the same college, to stay together and never get married..

Yes, now these memories make us laugh but then we just wanted to get big and get independent.

But, those memories, that part of our life remain in our hearts forever and ever because that was the life we now dream of, the careless and fearless life.

A life far away from this daily struggle and race to get bigger and better everyday every minute and everytime in search of success and happiness.
